49% of USA farms have Glyphosphate (Round UP) resistant weeds as compared to 34% in 2011. Recent data suggests the farming practices that accompany the use of seeds that are genetically modified are a huge reason this is happening as more and more herbicide is having to be used to deal with the weeds.
